Resonance
In physics, resonance describes the tendency of a system to oscillate with high amplitude when excited by an energy field at a certain frequency. This frequency is known as the system’s natural frequency of vibration, resonant frequency, or Eigen frequency.
Another example of resonance is demonstrated when a crystal glass, exposed to sound waves of appropriate pitch and volume, shatters. Check this video.
